“Guide2Pride was a great opportunity for our church to come together and intentionally prepare for Pride Month. The workshop did a great job providing historical background, vocabulary, and current perspectives from the LGBTQ+ community. The format allowed people to ask questions and invited self reflection. I highly recommend it!"

"As an ally, I have attended this workshop several times in the past and have always come away with some new, valuable understanding about the LGBTQ+ community. This workshop is key to broadening your perspective in order to support our LGBTQ+ siblings and make the world a better place for all of us to live in. Guide2Pride fosters healthy conversations and answers questions from folks regardless of where they are on their journey.
Mark and Rose
"Guide2Pride is informational, interactive, kind, fun yet realistic, spiritual, and eye-opening to many. We've been through the workshop a few times, and every time we learn new things. Guide2Pride makes us think about the challenges and realities of those in the LGBTQ+ community see on a daily basis. Most importantly, it equips us to think about what we can do to make a positive difference in the lives of the LGBTQ+ Community.
ABOUT US
Empowering LGBTQIA+ Affirming Churches
Guide2Pride is a small, Kenosha-based LLC dedicated to supporting churches in their journey toward LGBTQIA+ inclusivity. We are passionate about creating welcoming and affirming spaces for all.
At the heart of our mission is the belief that all people are wonderfully created by God and have something unique to bring to God's table. We focus specifically on LGBTQIA+ inclusion in Christian communities because the history between the Church and LGBTQIA+ communities is a painful one. Our goal is to empower congregations to become homes for LGBTQIA+ folks and their loved ones.

Founder's Biography
Sage is a queer, white, Latine Christian whose faith journey took off as they discovered their queer identities. They grew up in a variety of Christian denominations including: Nondenominational, Assemblies of God, Unitarian Universalist, Presbyterian, and Lutheran. As a member of their current church since 2022, they serve on Church Council and are involved in a small group dedicated to justice and social issues through a faith-based lens.
Sage has a B.A. in English Language and Literature and a M.S. in College Student Development with a specialization in diversity and identity development. They have been supporting folks with marginalized identities and providing allyship and inclusivity trainings in university settings since 2019.
In the spring of 2022, Sage was asked to provide an LGBTQIA+ allyship training for their home church. Since then, they have hosted a version of this training, as well as other informational sessions, every year. Over time, these trainings grew more than Sage expected. Other churches began asking Sage to facilitate Guide2Pride for them, and Sage decided to offer not only Guide2Pride, but other LGBTQIA+ inclusivity supports on a broader scale.
Mission
Empowering faith communities to flourish as fully inclusive, welcoming, and affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ people and their loved ones.
Values
Radical Inclusion
We believe that God joyfully welcomes everyone to the table and, as followers, we strive to do so as well.
Powerful Relationships
We are committed to loving people well and helping our Church communities do the same. This means that relationship-building is at the heart of everything we do.
Intentional Growth
We are committed to life-long learning and continuous change to best love others.
Trust Stewardship
We recognize the historical pain between the Church and LGBTQIA+ communities and are committed to reconciliation and the rebuilding of trust.
Authentic Community
We affirm that each person is wonderfully created and brings something special to the table. Inclusion is not about tolerating difference, but about each person bringing their authentic self into community. This is how we bless each other.
